Mooloolaba

Thurs 2nd - In Brisbane - Me and the girls from my dorm went for breakfast at the bar downstairs, so it was nice to spend a bit more time with them before I left. At 11am, I boarded my bus to Mooloolaba! On the way we stopped for lunch, and also stopped for 20 minutes at the lookout of the Glass House Mountains.

It was a lovely day and the bus driver told us the aboriginal stories behind the mountains. It was also good to get another sight ticked off my list without having to make a special trip!

When I got to Mooloolaba I thought it was quite a pretty town. I had a walk around town and the beach with a girl from my hostel. The beach was lovely and so quiet compared to the other places I'd been to so far in Australia.

The waves were great for surfing but I didn't want to do it as there seemed to be a lot of really good surfers out on the water and I didn't want to embarrass myself!

Friday 3rd -  They offered free paddle boarding lessons at the hostel but unfortunately the instructor was badly injured the day before whilst surfing so I couldn’t do that, so I just went for a walk to the shopping centre with a girl from the hostel. I checked out then took the OzExperience bus to Noosa.
