Noosa

Friday 3rd – Coming off the bus in Noosa I bumped into a Claire and Louise, 2 of the OzExperience girls that I left in Brisbane and they highly recommended Flashpackers. So me and 2 girls from the bus decided to check in there. It was a really nice hostel, more expensive than the others I’ve stayed in but it was worth it and felt like a luxury. We had a bbq in the evening and played cards with people from the hostel. Later on, me, Vic and Elinor stayed up to watch Beauty and the Beast – very chilled Friday night in.
Saturday 4th – Today we went for a 3 hour coastal walk from Sunshine beach to Main Beach. It was a beautiful walk with some gorgeous lookout points along the way.

In the afternoon we chilled out at Sunshine beach before going out for a lovely Italian meal, then going for a night out in the Nomads bar and Rolling Rock.
Sunday 5th – We got up early and decided to take bodyboards from the hostel with us to Main beach to have a go at bodyboarding! We had lots of fun but it was only later in the afternoon when we spoke to a guy at the hostel that we realised we were using the boards the wrong way round! Oops! Elinor then took her bus to Rainbow Beach and me and Vicky chilled out at the hostel and caught up on the final 5 episodes in Series 7 of Desperate Housewives. It was a very good day!
Monday 6th – We left Noosa today and me and Vicky took the bus to Rainbow Beach for our Fraser Island tour. On the way our driver Toucan took us on a detour to Tewantin State forest which is part of Noosa Hinterland. We went to the Mount Tinbeerwah lookout where we could see the Great Dividing Range. It was a fun bus journey ad we played a music trivia quiz on the bus (which I won).
